Get To Know Your Local! Meet Luke from Strange Servant

Get to know your local! Meet Luke from Strange Servant!

How long have you been working at Strange Servant?

I’ve been part of the Strange Servant team for 4 years now!

How do you feel about your local community of customers in Dingley Village?

So I’m a Dingley boy, I grew up here, went to school here and now that I work at Strange Servant, I see so many familiar faces. They really are lovely people. It’s a nice tight knit community to be a part of.

During my time at Strange Servant we’ve had massive support from our local customers in particular during the lock-downs. It goes to show that if you do good by the community, they support you back.

What are some of your favourite items on the menu at Strange Servant?

Good question! I’d say the Lamb Benny as it’s a nice hardy meal; lamb, bread, eggs.

Another nice staple dish is our Moroccan Eggs, that dish is always a crowd favourite.

What are some things that you are personally passionate about, outside of your work at Strange Servant?

Travel and family. I’m from a Greek background and part of a big family! We are a family of Dingley Village locals actually, including Alyssa my sister who is also part of the Strange Servant Team.

I’m looking forward to travelling back to Europe soon, to reconnect with my heritage and enjoy the European Summer.

It’s also worth mentioning that me and my family are mad Collingwood supporters! Go Pies.
