Community

Dingley Village is a suburb in Melbourne, 22 km south-east from Melbourne’s central business district. It’s one of the few suburbs that hasn’t lost its community-driven charm, where you know your neighbours, great schools, great coffee, you feel safe and are surrounded by people who care about the community.

Dingley is a great family suburb with relatively large blocks and many parks. The Hawthorne football club has acquired land and will move their playing fields to Dingley in the next 5+ years – this will see the suburb flourish further.

On the outskirts of Dingley/Heatherton is Kingston Council’s so-called “green-wedge” formerly the market gardens.

Dingley Village Shopping Centre has all of your day-to-day groceries, dine-in cafes and restaurants, takeaway food, a variety of bottle shops, pharmacy, and gym.

Ample free parking and the convenience of parking at the front door to the store as the Centre is designed over one ground level. Come and see the local owner retailer and take the stress out of your busy life.

As we are a community based and run Centre, we would love to hear from you around any community initiatives to support the local’s area and environment.

Dingley Village Shopping Centre is proud to honour the traditional owners of the land upon which this shopping centre is built. We recognise the generations of aboriginal people who have lived in and derived their physical and spiritual needs from the forests, rivers, lakes and streams of this beautiful land for thousands of years. We continue to acknowledge their connection to land, water and community, we pay respect to the Elders past, present and emerging.
